My life began a new journey when our beautiful daughter Leila was born eight years ago. Our excitement was quickly replaced with fear as we soon realized our daughter had a very serious medical condition that caused her to have Global Delay, Cerebral Palsy and an extreme form of epilepsy called Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. After receiving a very grim prognosis I decided I needed to do everything in my power to give her the best possible life I could. We started right away with many different types of therapies, but none gave us the outcomes we were hoping for. Many methods were painful and stressful for Leila. It really broke my heart to think this was what her future was, but then thankfully we found an Anat Baniel Method Practitioner and I regained hope. For the first time Leila enjoyed her sessions and she was progressing! I was one happy mom!
By the time we found the Anat Baniel Method, Leila was already 5 years old and she had started school full time. Our nearest practitioner was close to an hour away so it made it difficult to go on a regular basis. That's when I made the life altering decision to become an Anat Baniel Method Practitioner also known as a NeuroMovement Practitioner.
I have dedicated three years into studying the Anat Baniel Method and graduated as a NeuroMovement practitioner in 2015. I continued my training with the Children's Mastery and will graduate in May 2016.
I am beyond thrilled to begin working with families and their children, facilitating new and exciting possibilities!
